Our Facility

Our one of a kind fitness kickboxing studio in Russellville, AR. is complete with bathrooms, changing rooms and a diverse schedule to help accommodate workout needs to fit your busy schedule.  We take pride in keeping our studio clean and up to date for all our members. We are proud of our ALL NEW 4,000 sq. ft. studio located at 900 West E. Street here in Russellville.  Our location provides plenty of natural light and a great view provided several windows, which bring the outdoors inside while you train.  In the spring and fall, the outdoor element is even better thanks to our industrial garage doors, which let the fresh air in on those beautiful Arkansas days.  When the weather permits, plan on outdoor tractor tire workouts, obstacle course action and timed runs!

Brian Wilson
Kickboxing Coach/Owner

Training Background

Brian Wilson is founder and co-owner of Forca Martial Arts & Fitness in Russellville, Arkansas, and is also director of Força’s Community Outreach Program, a local 501c3 non-profit organization. Brian began his martial arts training in 2006 under the guidance of Kaleb Plank and Mike Page at Inferno Mixed Martial Arts in Clarksville; his coaches also include Danny Dring, William McGlothlin, Joshua McMillian, and his mentor, Dean Plank, among others.

Brian holds a black belt in MMA in Inferno Combat Systems and is a brown belt in both Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo.  He has competed in numerous tournament matches across the United States, including the IBJJF World Jiu-Jitsu Championships, Pan American Games, and American Nationals, as well as many other regional tournaments in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee and Missouri.  As a striking coach, he has also produced multiple IKF Amateur World Kickboxing Champions.  Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science with a minor in Philosophy as well as a Master of Arts in History, both from Arkansas Tech University.

Cora “Kimura” Wilson
Kickboxing Coach/Owner

Training Background

Cora Wilson, Group Fitness, Youth MMA/BJJ instructor and Head Women’s BJJ Coach, is co-owner of Força Martial Arts & Fitness and principle officer of Força’s Community Outreach Program, Força’s 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to share the benefits of martial arts training with community members throughout the River Valley. Cora is a two-time, undefeated amateur world kickboxing champion and holds the ranks of blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, brown belt MMA in the Inferno Combat Systems, and yellow belt in Judo. Cora has competed in combat sports all over the United States and is a multi-time gi/no-gi American Grappling Federation gold medalist, as well as an IBJJF Pan-American and Worlds BJJ Championships competitor.  She competes as a War Tribe-sponsored athlete and has won the endorsement of several local sponsors, such as Umami Sushi and Grill Fusion, Quiznos Subs, and Freddo’s Frozen Treats.

Kim Bethel is one of our very talented group fitness instructors.  She is a certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor and the Fitness Kickboxing and Fitness Boot Camp Facilitator at Russellville Fitness Kickboxing and Força Martial Arts and Fitness.  Kim has been a with the Força/RFK team since 2012!

Boot Camps

Fitness Kickboxing is a high-energy group workout involving interval training, punching and kicking on a bag and is mixed in with calisthenics for a total body workout.  Members typically burn on average 800-1,000 calories per class. Our fitness kickboxing classes in Russellville are considered the River Valley area’s most exciting and practical workout.

Our custom blend of kickboxing and self-defense techniques will get you punching, kicking, kneeing and elbowing your way to a stronger, leaner and more confident YOU!  It is a non-stop action packed and full-body focused 45-minute interval based workout that will burn the calories fast!  This class consists of focused aerobic and anaerobic cardio exercises, a dynamic warm-up, solo bag exercises, intense abdominal workout-out followed by a cool down stretch.

Our fitness boot camps are designed to help burn fat and target multiple muscle groups for the ultimate results in each one of our members.  Each class includes a dynamic warm-up, interval based cardio exercises, circuits and light resistance training followed by a dynamic cool down and stretch.

This class will help you in developing better balance, coordination, dexterity and flexibility. Medicine balls, kettle-bells, dumbbells, stability balls, and resistance bands are also used used to help improve muscular strength and tone those hard to reach areas. By adding simple plyometric and calisthenics to every workout, you will be burning fat while toning. Every exercise has a beginner and advanced application so that all fitness levels can participate and still achieve results. This is a limited group setting.

Yoga classes are offered weekly at our facility. Serenity yoga is a great option for members seeking a slower paced workout or those looking to increase balance, flexibility and mental clarity. Yoga offers a blend of restorative yoga as well as vinyasa flow yoga. Whether you are looking to supplement yoga into your current training regimen, or make it your sole endeavor, RFK yoga has yoga for every body.

To help keep all of our members engaged we have quarterly fitness challenges geared towards weight loss, personal goal setting, attribute development and team building.  Each fitness challenge is fun and exciting with a different theme and focus.

We take measurements, BMI, body fat percentage, weight, and other relevant date as well as provide structured programs and feedback to help each individual member achieve their goal of not only completing the challenge but also seeing their desired results.  Our challenges require a nominal entry fee with category and contests winners taking home CASH and other awesome prizes.

 

Looking to supplement your training for an upcoming event or competition?  Maybe you are looking to put in additional training time for an upcoming testing or rank review. We have personal training packages available for those interested in extra training sessions with one of our instructors outside of normal classes.  Private lessons are a great way for you to set and achieve new goals and receive the one-on-one guidance and planning it takes to help you achieve them.
